Beyond Training: Collaborative Advocacy

As the Re-Present Studios team knows all too well, advocating for change in the art world requires a united front. The systemic inequalities that exist within the industry have been built up over decades, and it will take the collective effort of many organizations and individuals to dismantle them. By partnering with other organizations and individuals who share their values, Re-Present Studios is able to amplify their message and reach a wider audience. This helps to create a network of like-minded individuals who are all working towards the same goal - a more equitable and inclusive art world.

Moreover, the power of collective action cannot be overstated. By coming together, these organizations are able to pool their resources and knowledge, which can be instrumental in effecting change. Advocacy work requires a great deal of research, networking, and strategic planning, and the more minds and hands involved, the better. By working together, organizations can also create a sense of solidarity and community, which can be an important source of motivation and support. This helps to create a culture of change that encourages individuals to take action and empowers them to make a difference.

Ultimately, by standing together in advocacy, organizations like Re-Present Studios are not only able to create change within the art world but also to inspire and support others in their efforts to create a more equitable and just society.

We're not just out to influence an industry; we're out to change the world!
